Dr. Daniël Maria Hoekstra-Citroën /ˈdaːniˌjɛl maːˈri.jaː ɦuk.stra siˈtroː.ɛn/ is a West Frisian neurosurgeon and bioengineer in his late 50's. he was born in Terschelling, one of the West Frisian islands in the Netherlands, and moved to Rotterdam for college. after the passing of his wife Grietje, he became reclusive, until he began communicating with the Lunarians through his ham radio. he currently resides in Sao Vàng, the capital of the LPR, where he practices neurology. he loves computers and drag. despite being a kind and quiet man, he is a bit sadistic.
