James Kärlek Friedrich (German/Swedish: /d͡ʒeɪms ˈɕɛːrˌleːk ˈfʁiː.dʁɪç/ "assailant of love and peace"), also known as Jamie Fritz (/ˈd͡ʒɛɪmi fʁɪt͡s/, /ˈjɛɪmi/ [humorously]), is a German nurse. he is a paranoid, egotistical, violent misanthrope who has little regard for the safety or wellbeing of others. Benjamin is his husband.
his name was Jeckel Spielmeijer prior to moving to the United States. he has a very strange accent, as he grew up speaking Kölsch and Swedish and learned English in the Southern US. he says "heidewitzka!" quite often.
