Khingan (/kʰɪŋɡʌn/; Ankuese: khi-ngaan [kʰí ŋã́ː]) is a language family spoken on Pluto and Charon.

the exact origin of the Khingan language family is unclear. there exists a fringe theory that it was brought to Pluto by the common ancestor of the Anku and Manbu, before the two species had split off. however, the Anku seem to have had a language before the modern Khingan Ankuic languages, which would render this theory false. at the moment, neither of these can be proven.
the Xali seem to have adopted Khingan around 500,000 years ago (roughly 2,016 Plutonian years). despite the fact it's listed in the Xalic branch, their indigenous language Baran-Baran appears to be a language isolate.
