Commander Tenzin Namgyal Dawamarpo (དམག་དཔོན་བསྟན་འཛིན་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་ཟླ་བ་དམར་པོ "doctrine-holding scarlet moon of victory"), known also as Dawa (Tibetan: [ta˩˨.wa˥˥] Kyirong: [da˧˧.wa˥˥]; Juǀʼhoan: Nǃúí "moon, month"; Zhang-Zhung: Zla-ri) is a Kyirong-!Kung-Lunarian pilot. he is the seventh and youngest son of General Dorje Tenzin. he's about 50,000 lunar years old, and practices Yungdrung Bön, the indigenous pre-Buddhist Tibetan religon.
he grew up speaking Kyirong and Zhang-Zhung interchangeably. he learned Standard Tibetan in school and Vietnamese prior to moving to the LPR. (note: Zhang-Zhung is still spoken by a small minority of Bonpos on the Moon. it is extinct on Earth.) his Vietnamese is remarkably standard, though he does have a Tibetan accent. in English, he has a British accent.
he's a great pilot, but his dream job was to be an actuary or a data scientist. his exceptional skill in mathematics allows him to calculate the trajectories of the spacecrafts he pilots. he can manipulate electromagnetic radiation, however this mostly manifests as photokinesis, manipulation of visible light.
he must keep calm, as when he is upset, he subconciously emits radio waves that can negatively affect spacecrafts, such as disrupting various signals (including screens and communication), which can be deadly.
his hair is naturally very coily, but he gets silk presses in an attempt to better fit in with the [South]East Asian majority of his homeland.
