Aster Ophiuchus "Ophie" Femto (Anku name: Aq'oqx̣őngaw'yngi U'fin) is an Anku, a race of anglerfish-esque spirits who guide unruly souls to Hell. he is quite in love with Mischa Creutzfeldt, who does not feel the same way in any shape or form. he eats young children by luring them near him with his antenna.
he is of the Aq'o clan. the X marking on his right cheek is a clan tattoo.
he is a dreamweaver, a prestigious job amongst Anku. he delivers dreams to people, usually carrying some sort of omen. he has a purple staff with a crescent, dubbed the "dreamsicle". with it, he's able to control the hypothalamus of others, making them fall asleep indefinitely, hallucinate, have severe headaches, lose their vision, lose control of their autonomic nervous system, and ultimately cause a coma.
Ophie is a bit full of himself as he is an elite Anku; he believes he deserves respect from everyone lower than him in the Anku caste. he is apart of the "u-qx̣őng" rank, akin to the indian Kshatriya.
while he usually speaks Natlel Ankuese, his native language/dialect is Meng-pʽo Ankuese. his mentees will say "quumulogyi aa!" (so rural!) if the distinctive Meng-pʽo drawl or labialization slips out.
illustration of Ophie. his clothing is of the gap'aruuj ([gà pʼàr ùːʑ]; "new/novel style") aesthetic, very similar to Neptunian "bad kid" styles (akin to many alternative subcultures on Earth).
he lives in the Plutonian capital, Natlel. because of this, he is required to wear a neckpiece constricting his gills. his is decorated; the star tag says "15" as U'fin sounds similar to the Plutonian word Ag-Fẽ "one-five".
he is a dreamweaver mentor for the Anku duo Secant and Cotangent. he's quite bossy and rude to them as they are lower ranking than him.
