the Kammather (lit. "people [from where] the cherries grow") were a major race of Humans in the Previous Era. they were tall and stocky, with fair skin and hair (the Hwdyyt name for them, Kuru, literally means "light-skinned"). the royalty of the Afdomthe empire had a bizarre genetic mutation, which they called thohwukta ("king's sickness"; a much more vulgar name is fellbesau, meaning "bastard's tinge", referring to the infidelity in the royal family), causing very little melanin production and a pink hue to the skin, hair, and eyes. the majority of them spoke Kammath.
